The best method of transportation in this city is very often driving. It is very convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Highway 402, are easy to access from anywhere in Sarnia. Walking is not very practical for residents in Sarnia because few daily errands can be run on foot.

There are only a few high schools and primary schools in Sarnia and thus they can be a long walk away. In addition, it can be difficult to access daycares on foot. In terms of food, some, but not all, home buyers in this city will live within walking distance of one of approximately 20 grocery stores.
