Transportation
Downtown is quite suitable for those who travel by foot; running daily errands is easy. Downtown is not particularly transit friendly. Thankfully, there is the Guelph Central Station on the Kitchener Line. House owners are served by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most properties. In contrast, driving is a good medium of transportation in Downtown. Many houses for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is easy to access a parking spot.
Services
In Downtown, families will usually be able to get to daycares and schools by walking. With regards to eating, it is frequently possible for property owners in this neighbourhood to do their groceries by walking. Furthermore, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner, and a limited variety of cafes is available as well. Residents can find a fair number of clothing stores within walking distance.
Character
Downtown offers a calm atmosphere and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. It is easy to get to public green spaces from most locations in the neighbourhood since there are approximately 20 of them nearby for residents to visit.
