On the other hand, this part of City of North Vancouver is not very conducive to bicycling because the bicycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and bike riders encounter quite a few elevation changes. Travelling by car is very convenient in Tempe. Most real estate listings are a very short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway, and parking is generally easy. However, the public transit system in Tempe is somewhat poor. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner.

Schools and daycares are easy to access on foot from most houses for sale in this area. As far as eating is concerned, a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a rather short walk away in Tempe. Furthermore, those who like to dine in restaurants will have a good number of choices.

Character

Tempe offers a relaxed environment and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time in green spaces. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets tend to be quite tranquil - however noise can be problematic closer to Trans-Canada Highway. Finally, there are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to relax in and they are very well-distributed, making it very easy to access them.
