This area allows house buyers to get around using several methods of transportation. Rosemont is very transit friendly owing to about 20 nearby bus lines. Rosemont will also attract physically active house buyers as it is especially suitable for walking; meeting daily needs is very easy on foot, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. The bicycle is a very good means of transportation in this part of Montréal as there are a fair number of bike lanes, and bike-share stations are seldomly more than a few blocks away.

Services

Parents and their children will value the proximity to schools and daycares, which are within walking distance from most, if not all, houses for sale in this part of the city. As far as food is concerned, it is usually an option for house buyers in Rosemont to buy general and specialty groceries by walking. Likewise, this neighbourhood is a good place in which to eat out, for instance along Rue Masson, and residents are served by a few cafes as well. It is also a reasonably short distance to a decent selection of clothing stores.

Character

Rosemont has a character that appeals to a fairly diverse group of people. It is easy to find lively areas in this part of the city. Despite the fact that there is a small selection of entertainment venues, the streets are usually busy with people, and places to go out at night are well-spread throughout the neighbourhood. Rosemont is fairly good for those who need quiet surroundings, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Greenery is present in this neighbourhood; there are around 30 parks nearby for residents to unwind in, including Parc Maisonneuve, and they are very well-distributed, making it very easy to get to them. Furthermore, residents will find that there are many tree-lined streets.
