Driving is a great means of transportation in this part of the city. It is very convenient to park, and it is a reasonably short car ride to the closest highway from any location in Parkdale. However, the public transit network in Parkdale is quite poor. Nonetheless, residents are served by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not particularly far from most homes. Walking is not very convenient for property owners in Parkdale because most daily needs are challenging to meet on foot.

Some house buyers in Parkdale may have the option to do grocery shopping by walking, while others will have to use another means of transportation. Residents can enjoy a few cafes as well. In terms of education, this neighbourhood does not have any high schools or primary schools. In addition, daycares are not numerous and accordingly tend to require a very long walk to get to.
