Cars are a great transportation option in Tyandaga. The majority of properties for sale are a reasonably short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 407, and it is very easy to find a place to park. In contrast, the public transit network in Tyandaga is not very convenient. Thankfully, property owners benefit from a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually just around the corner. Walking is not very practical for house buyers in Tyandaga since few common errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle. Tyandaga is also not very suited for bicycling because there are few bike lanes, and there is a significant amount of hills.
Services
Families will find that no matter where their home is situated in Tyandaga, daycares and primary schools are close by. However, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood. With respect to eating, a fraction of house buyers in Tyandaga may be able to access the nearest grocery store on foot, while others will need another means of transportation. There are also a few restaurants in this part of Burlington.
Character
Tyandaga is a good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a calm ambience. This area is quiet, as the streets are generally quite peaceful - although that is not the case near Highway 403 or Highway 407. Lastly, there are a few green spaces nearby for residents to check out and they are very well-situated, resulting in them being easy to get to from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood.
