Cars are an excellent transportation option in Waverley. Parking is generally easy. However, Waverley is not a very convenient part of Halifax for moving around by public transit. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines crossing the community. This part of the municipality is not very suitable for walking since most daily needs are very challenging to carry out on foot.
Services
House buyers in this part of the municipality almost always have to rely on a car to access the closest supermarket. In terms of education, there are only a few primary schools in Waverley and therefore they can be an extended walk away. In addition, Waverley does not contain any high schools. Moreover, daycares are not very abundant and accordingly not always within walking distance.
Character
Waverley is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets are peaceful - however noise can be an issue closer to the railway line. It is occasionally hard to access green spaces since they are spread out sporadically. Despite that, there are a few parks nearby for residents to check out.
