Driving is an excellent means of transportation in Dundarave. Nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are very easy to reach from any home in Dundarave, and it is straightforward to park. However, the public transit system in Dundarave is not very convenient. Thankfully, residents have access to a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most homes. Most houses for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are not especially convenient for walking because most daily needs are sometimes challenging to meet on foot. It is also very hard to move around by bike in Dundarave as the bicycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive, and bike riders are faced with a considerable amount of elevation changes.

It is easy to access the closest supermarket on foot in Dundarave. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who value nearby restaurants and cafes. When it comes to education, primary schools and daycares are very easy to reach on foot from any location in Dundarave. In contrast, there are no high schools in this neighbourhood.
Character
Dundarave offers a slower-paced atmosphere and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. This neighbourhood is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets are usually tranquil - although that is not the case around the railway line or Trans-Canada Highway. Finally, there are about 20 parks close by for residents to unwind in and they are very well-spread out, resulting in them being easy to access from the majority of locations in Dundarave.
