Transportation
Getting around by car is very easy in this part of the municipality. Most homes for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway, and coming across a parking spot is generally easy. However, Cypress is not an especially pleasant part of West Vancouver for travelling by public transit. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. It is very hard to travel by bike in Cypress as there is a significant amount of elevation changes, and the cycling infrastructure is rather poor. It is also impractical for people walking to get around in this neighbourhood because very few day-to-day needs can be met on foot.
Services
Parents and their schoolchildren will value that no matter where their home is located in Cypress, primary schools and daycares are close by. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this part of the municipality. In terms of eating, buying one's groceries very often demands the use of a vehicle in Cypress.
Character
The character of Cypress is exemplified by its relaxed atmosphere. This area is reasonably quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, it is very easy to access green spaces since there are a few of them nearby for residents to explore.
