The car is very often the best method to get around in Upper Lynn. Parking is quite easy. In contrast, commuting by transit can be challenging in this part of the municipality by reason of the low service level. Nonetheless, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. It is challenging to travel by bike in Upper Lynn because the bicycling network is rather poor, and cyclists are faced with a significant amount of hills. Many of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are also not very conducive to those who travel by foot as very few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

With regards to education, parents and their kids will value the proximity to daycares and primary schools, which are within walking distance from the majority of homes for sale in this area. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this part of the municipality.

This part of the municipality is especially quiet overall, as the streets are generally very tranquil. Lastly, there are approximately 10 parks close by for residents to explore, which makes them very easy to access from a lot of locations in the neighbourhood.
