Cars are a great means of transportation in this neighbourhood. It is a reasonably short car ride to the closest highway, such as Nanaimo Parkway, from anywhere in Westwood, and parking is easy. In contrast, this part of Nanaimo is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and it is easy to reach a nearby bus stop from most homes. It is inconvenient for people travelling on foot to navigate Westwood since running daily errands is difficult.
Services
It can be difficult to walk to high schools and primary schools from houses for sale in Westwood. Furthermore, daycares are not especially plentiful and thus not always within walking distance. With regards to food, house buyers in this part of the city typically have to turn to a vehicle to travel to the closest supermarket. Residents benefit from a few restaurants and cafes.
