Transportation
Physically active house buyers will value the quite pedestrian-friendly nature of this area; meeting day-to-day needs is convenient on foot. In contrast, cycling is at times difficult in this part of the city because the bicycling infrastructure is not especially extensive, and cyclists encounter a considerable amount of elevation changes. Public transit users may experience few choices in Town Centre due to the infrequent service. Nevertheless, it is easy to find a nearby train station, including the Port Haney Station with access to the Wce | West Coast Express, from the bulk of houses in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is served by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. On the other hand, Town Centre is car friendly. Parking is generally easy, and many houses for sale are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway.
Services
A general and a specialty grocery store is always only a short walk away in Town Centre. In addition, there is commonly a restaurant or cafe in close proximity, for instance on 224th Street. A reasonable selection of clothing stores can also be found within a rather short walking distance. Concerning education, daycares and schools are convenient to reach on foot from anywhere in Town Centre.
Character
Town Centre offers a calm atmosphere and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. Green spaces are easy to access since there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to unwind in. This area is quiet overall, as the streets are generally reasonably calm - although there are still several noisier sections, especially around the railway line.
