Transportation
This neighbourhood is very car friendly. Nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are reasonably easy to access from any home in this neighbourhood, and it is especially convenient to come across a place to park. However, getting around by public transit is very difficult in Valley South. Walking is not very feasible for house buyers in this area since very few daily needs can be carried out on foot.
Services
Parents may consider it very difficult for their children to reach high schools and primary schools as pedestrians. In addition, it can be very hard to access daycares on foot. Concerning eating, in vast majority cases, a car is required in Valley South to reach the nearest grocery store.
Character
Valley South is good for those who need quiet areas, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although there are still several noisier sections, especially around the railway line or Trans-Canada Highway. Public green spaces aren't well-spread out, making it very hard to reach them from many locations within the neighbourhood.
