Transportation
This neighbourhood is an extraordinarily good part of Chilliwack for driving. Parking is quite easy. On the other hand, this area is not a very convenient part of Chilliwack for travelling by public transit. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines. Valley North is not very well-suited for those who travel by foot as meeting daily needs is very impractical.
Services
High schools and primary schools are not especially numerous in Valley North, and accordingly not always within walking distance. Furthermore, parents may consider it very difficult for their children to get to daycares on foot. Regarding food, house buyers in this area almost always have to turn to a vehicle to reach the closest supermarket.
Character
Valley North is quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case closer to Trans-Canada Highway, the railway line or the airport (YCW). Parks are spread out sporadically, making it very difficult to access them. Still, there are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to discover.
